Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LicenseKit ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Service Overview

LicenseKit provides software license management infrastructure for independent developers, including license key generation, device binding, real-time verification API, and related developer tools.

User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for the legality of the software you license through the Platform.
• You must not use LicenseKit to distribute malware, cracking tools, or any software that violates applicable laws.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
• You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, abuse, or overload the verification API.

Prohibited Uses

The following are strictly prohibited:

• Using the Service for illegal software distribution or piracy
• Attempting to circumvent rate limits or security measures
• Reselling or sublicensing access to the LicenseKit API without written permission
• Impersonating LicenseKit or creating misleading integrations

Payments & Fees

• Payments are processed through third-party providers (Creem, Stripe, or Paddle). LicenseKit does not store payment card information.
• Subscription fees are billed in advance. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact [email protected] within 7 days of charge.
• LicenseKit reserves the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions beyond our control.

Intellectual Property

LicenseKit and its associated trademarks, logos, and software remain the property of the operating entity. Your license keys, project data, and customer records remain your property. We claim no ownership over your data.

Termination

• You may cancel your account at any time from the Dashboard settings.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice.
• Upon termination, your data will be retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LicenseKit and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operating entity is registered. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, then binding arbitration if necessary.
